MONUMENTS AND MEMORIALS IN DENMARK
1. Bernstorff Memorial: is a memorial to Count Johann Hartwig Ernst von Bernstorff located in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was erected by local farmers to a design by Johannes Wiedewelt to commemorate the agricultural reforms that Bernstorff introduced on his estate Bernstorff Palace.
2.Statue of Hans Egede: is a prominent monument in Nuuk, Greenland. It commemorates the Dano-Norwegian Lutheran missionary Hans Egede who founded Nuuk in 1728. The statue lies on a hill near the shore above Nuuk Cathedral in the historical Old Nuuk area of the city.
3. Dragon Fountain: is a fountain located in the City Hall Square in Copenhagen. It was designed by Joakim Skovgaard in collaboration with Thorvald Bindesbøll.
4. The mermaid statue in Copenhagen: is a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen.
Based on the fairy tale of the same name by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the small and unimposing statue is a Copenhagen icon and has been a major tourist attraction since 1913. In recent decades, it has become a popular target for defacement by vandals and political activists.
